The Memoire Ring and its external appearance
There are different methods of setting the diamonds on the memoire ring – each gives the piece of jewelry its own unique character.
The channel setting is very common - the diamonds are placed between two lateral rails made of precious metal. The gemstones are directly adjacent to each other and a continuous row of sparkling diamonds is created.
Another variation of the memoire ring is the bar setting, where the stones on the ring rail alternate with elements made of precious metal that hold them in place. The pavé setting is perfect for several rows of very small diamonds arranged next to each other on the memoire ring. Here, small beads made of precious metal fix the gemstones in place and create an uninterrupted surface of shimmering diamonds.
The diamonds arranged around the ring all have the same design. The classic cut is the brilliant cut, but the princess cut and the emerald cut are also very popular.
