The term ear clips refers to all earrings that can also be worn by people without pierced ears.
They are attached to the earlobe by a movable hinge that acts as a clip. To put the ear clips on, the hinge is pressed shut; to remove them, the two levers are pulled apart. This means that ear clips are in no way inferior to stud earrings and can easily last through long parties.
Who can wear clip earrings?
Clip-on earrings are a welcome alternative to traditional earrings for anyone who finds ear piercings cause infections or who has decided against it for other reasons. With clip-on earrings, wearers do not have to go without earrings.
Basically, ear clips always fit perfectly because their shape adapts exactly to the earlobe; one disadvantage of inferior ear clips, however, can be that they exert too much pressure and thus cause pain when worn.
Care should be taken to ensure that the ear clips are not adjusted too tightly - this risk does not exist with high-quality ear clips. Here, care is taken to ensure that they are neither too loose nor too tight - so they are in no way inferior to normal earrings in terms of comfort.
Of course, ear clips can also be worn easily by women or men with pierced ears.
ear clips by RENÉSIM
In principle, there are no limits to the design of ear clips - they can be just as versatile and have different shapes as normal earrings. There are ear clips that only consist of a set gemstone or a subtle pearl, enchanting hoop earrings as ear clips or even expansive earrings with a clip closure.
At RENÉSIM, the earrings from the Flowers collection are also available as ear clips. However, on request, our experts can also design all other models and any other ear jewelry request, no matter how unusual, as ear clips.
