How does RENÉSIM First Choice work?
We can recommend all diamonds marked RENÉSIM First Choice with all our experience and expertise. These are exclusively diamonds with an excellent price/performance ratio, which, due to all their properties, go beautifully with the respective piece of jewelry.
Using the latest software technology, we search the global diamond market several times a day to find the diamonds we consider to be the most beautiful. Diamonds of the same value are often traded worldwide at highly fluctuating prices, which is why we always use the best current price we can find to calculate the price for each diamond.
What is the difference between the Four Cs and RENÉSIM First Choice?
The Four Cs (carat, color, clarity, cut) are the four main criteria for evaluating a diamond. In fact, there are about 25 characteristics that are different for every diamond. The specific combination of these 25 characteristics ultimately determines whether the diamond is beautiful.
We specifically look for diamonds whose quality characteristics, in our opinion, harmonize perfectly with one another - and which also offer an excellent price/performance ratio. We call this service RENÉSIM First Choice.

Do I receive a standard certificate for RENÉSIM First Choice diamonds?
Yes. All our diamonds come with an original GIA certificate.
How do I know if the gemstone delivered is genuine?
We supply each gemstone with a certificate from an independent and renowned testing institute (GIA/HRD/IGL/GRS/DPL/Gübelin). In addition, we carry out quality control, in which trained experts and gemologists personally assure themselves of the authenticity of your gemstone. We maintain intensive personal contact with our suppliers - some of them for decades! The industry is small and absolute reliability is our most important asset. In addition, you always have the option of reassuring yourself with one of the above-mentioned independent testing institutes by presenting the gemstone.
How do I recognize a real diamond?
All diamonds we select from 0.5 carats are checked by an independent and renowned testing institute (GIA/HRD/IGI). Most diamonds also have the corresponding certificate number engraved on the girdle. We supply diamonds smaller than 0.5 carats with our in-house certificate to keep the certification costs low for you. Our goldsmiths and gemologists personally check each individual diamond to ensure its authenticity, quality criteria and beauty and brilliance.
Every diamond is a unique natural product. The very specific values such as weight, color, clarity, symmetry, table/depth ratio, cut of the facets make your diamond a distinctive one-of-a-kind piece. We know each of our suppliers personally.
If this is not enough for you, you also have the option of obtaining reinsurance from one of the independent testing institutes mentioned above at any time by submitting a certificate.

Yes. RENÉSIM selects only natural and untreated diamonds of the best quality and brilliance for you.
Where are RENÉSIM jewelry made?
RENÉSIM is a European company with German, French and Austrian roots. We try to have most of our jewelry made in Germany. We love regionality and live handmade in Germany. But if we find techniques or materials that are made better elsewhere, we are happy to employ workshops in France or Italy.
Can I get other materials, colors or finishes for the jewelry?
