According to § 13 of the German Civil Code, a customer that takes part in a commercial transaction as a neutral entity, as apposed to a transaction applicable to their occupation or any independent business activity, has the following right to cancellation:

Right of Cancellation
The Customer may cancel his/her contract within 30 days without stating reasons. The cancellation period commences with the receipt of the goods, either by the Customer or designated third party that is not the carrier. To exert the notice of cancellation the Customer must send an explicit written declaration to us (renesim GmbH, Amiraplatz 1, 80333 Munich, Germany, phone: +49-89-1222 893-0, fax: +49-89-1222 893-99, E-mail: The Customer can use our sample notice form, however, it is not a prerequisite for the effective implementation. The Customer’s notification about his/her execution of the right of cancellation, before the end of the required period, is sufficient.
Consequences of cancellation
In the event of an effective cancellation any mutually received performance shall be returned and possible benefits derived repaid. We will reimburse any costs including the shipping charges (with exception to any additional charges, which were aggregated through any ulterior shipping method) within fourteen days upon receipt of the cancellation notice. Unless appointed otherwise, our repayment will be made via the same method of payment that was used for the initial transaction. The return shipment is free of charge for the Customer. RENÉSIM reserves the right to withhold the refund until we have received the merchandise or until we have received a notification that these have been shipped.
The cancellation period is maintained in the event that the Customer has promptly returned the items, or latest within fourteen days after the cancellation notice is sent. We will assume the costs of the return. Only in the event that the condition, properties and functionality of any products are impaired, the Customer must cover the costs of depreciation.

Please note: 
Please do not return the goods to us as freight collect (carriage not prepaid), but as an insured package. We will be happy to reimburse the shipping costs in advance. 
Please avoid damaging or soiling the goods. Please endeavour where possible to return the goods to us in the original packaging with all accessories and with all packaging components. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure the goods are packed appropriately for shipping to avoid damage in transit.
The above provisions are not a prerequisite for effective application of the right of cancellation.
